Scientists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan who participated in the “Turkish Council Health Science Board vaccine workshop”on Karantina Island in Urla District of Izmir participated in the information meetings related to coronavirus vaccine studies.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the Ministry of health of Uzbekistan Assoc. Dr. Akmal Sidiyov added that Turkish scientists were impressed by their work on the coronavirus vaccine and that Turkey never left them alone.
The Vice Minister of Health and the chairman of the Turkish Council Health Science Board, Prof. Dr. Emine Alp Meşe “The member states want to benefit from Turkey’s experience, especially with regard to the Covid-19 vaccine. Scientists in Turkey are conducting 13 vaccine studies related to Covid-19. 3 of these are in progress in the animal experiment phase. These will be completed as soon as possible and will proceed to the clinical stage., ” she said.
Turkey has provided medical devices, medicines and preservatives to 150 countries in the fight against the epidemic, she said, adding that these support will continue.
