Kiev, Ukraine – Ukraine’s Defense Ministry is preparing to order Bayraktar TB2 armed drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In recent years, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which has supplied 6 Bayraktar TB2 UCAV from Baykar defense through the Ukrainian State defense export agency UkrSpetsExport, is preparing to place new orders for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to information obtained by Defense Express from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, The New Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs to be ordered by Ukraine will be supplied for the protection of the Black Sea and sea of Azov coasts.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense aims to supply a fixed ground control station (YKI) in addition to mobile ground control stations, with a new order that it plans to issue by the end of the year, thereby conducting continuous intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) activity.

Aiming to use Bayraktar TB2 Siha equipped with Roketsan MAM-L munitions against Russian Main Battle Tanks (AMT) on the Donbass battlefield, the Ukrainian army aims to supply a total of 48 more Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs.
