Ankara, Turkey – “The statements and statements made by Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias about our country during his visit to Armenia are new proof that Greece prefers a policy of tension and escalation in its relations with Turkey, rather than good neighborliness, dialogue and cooperation,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hami Aksoy responded to a question about Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias ‘ statements in Armenia.
Aksoy used the following statements in his response:
The statements and statements made by Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias about our country during his visit to Armenia are new proof that Greece prefers a policy of tension and escalation in its relations with Turkey, rather than good neighbourliness, dialogue and cooperation.
These claims cannot cover up historical facts. Greece must not forget its massacre and genocide in Anatolia, and that it is doomed to pay compensation for it, read the history correctly, give up “Megali Idea”and Turkish hostility.
The common denominator of the solution of all the problems in our region is Turkey, the creator of the problems or the supporter of the creators of Greece.
It is Greece that supports the cruel Assad regime in Syria, the coup d’état Hafter in Libya, the occupying Armenia in Upper Karabakh, opens its doors to all terrorist organizations, including the PKK, PYD, FETO, operating against Turkey, turns the Aegean into the grave of migrants, and pursues expansionist policies in the Aegean and Mediterranean.
The Greek Foreign Minister, Nagorno-Karabakh and seven surrounding regions, who is in charge of the occupier, and to distinguish who is the victim of the international community, Armenia, governing the immediate and unconditional withdrawal from Azerbaijan’s occupied territories in spite of UN Security Council resolutions condemning the illegal occupation, you must invite for 28 years.
Greece should abandon these policies and read Turkey, the realities of the region and the world well.
