Ankara, Turkey – The gun attack on the Archbishop of the Orthodox Church in Lyon, France, has been condemned by the Foreign Ministry.
The foreign ministry said in a written statement that the cleric, who was seriously injured in the attack, was restored to health as soon as possible and that such attacks would end.

The attack took place near the Greek Orthodox Church in the 7th District of Lyon, southern France, and the attacker fled, shooting the pastor with a shotgun.
