Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, reported that the deployment of observation points along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh has been completed.

In a statement, Konashenkov informed about the deployment of Russian troops to Nagorno-Karabakh. Konashenkov noted that the ceasefire has been fully achieved on the entire contact line, noting that the operation for the deployment of observation points, where Russian soldiers will serve, has been completed.

“The ceasefire is controlled by peacekeepers at 9 observation points in the ‘South’ responsibility zone and 9 observation points in the ‘North’ responsibility zone, ” Konashenkov said, noting that Russian soldiers observed the situation in the region for 24 hours. Konashenkov added that a total of 140 aircraft have been flown out of Russia since November 10, bringing Russian troops and military vehicles to Nagorno-Karabakh.
