Paris, France – French President Emmanuel Macron has shamelessly attributed the rise in resentment in his colonial countries to Turkey. “There is a strategy about post-colonial resentment, sometimes implemented by African leaders but especially by foreign powers such as Russia and Turkey,” Macron said.”
Macron, speaking to the Jeune Afrique newspaper, blamed Turkey and Russia for Africans ‘ resentment of them over the colonial era.
“I need our (African) partners to say again clearly that they want France to stay with them,” Macron said, stressing that he will make new decisions on Operation Barkhane in the coming months., “he said. Macron said he hopes to travel to Rwanda next year.
