Istanbul, Turkey – President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed Sarraj, the head of the Libyan National Reconciliation Government. President Erdogan acknowledged that Turkey will continue to stand by Libya in full solidarity, noting that they are trying to strengthen relations with the National Reconciliation Government, the only legitimate representative of Libya.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accepted Fayez al-Sarraj, President of the Presidential Council of the Libyan National Reconciliation Government, and the accompanying delegation.

Bilateral relations and regional developments were discussed at the reception held at Vahdettin Mansion.

President Erdogan said in Kabul that Turkey will continue to stand by Libya in full solidarity, noting that they are trying to strengthen relations with the National Reconciliation Government, the only legitimate representative of Libya.

Between Turkey and Libya signed a memorandum of understanding on the limitation of maritime jurisdiction are registered by the United Nations, expressing the fact that that is a welcome development, stability and the welfare of Libyans, Libya’s President Erdogan stressed that they are ready to pursue all kinds of support.
