Ankara, Turkey – NAVTEX has been announced for the firing training to be held in the Eastern Mediterranean between 29 August and 11 September.
Turkey is continuing its training along with seismic studies in the Eastern Mediterranean. With the last Navtex announcement, it was announced that firing training would be held in the Eastern Mediterranean between 29 August and 11 September.
The coordinates of the training area were shared. Turkey had announced earlier firing training would be conducted in the Eastern Mediterranean from 1-2 September, 8:00 to 15:00 hours.

Seismic studies of Oruç Reis, Ataman and Cengizhan ships in the Eastern Mediterranean were also extended until 1 September.
Oktay: France and Greece best know
Vice President Fuat Oktay made a statement about the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Oktay said in a statement he made on his Twitter account, “It is insincere that the EU is on the one hand calling for dialogue, and in other plans on the other, regarding the activities we carry out in our own continental shelf in the Eastern Mediterranean.
We are well aware of the issues of peace and diplomatic language, but we will not hesitate to make the necessary it comes to protecting the rights and interests of Turkey. France and Greece are among those who know this best.”
