Doha, Qatar – The Emir of Qatar, Temim bin Hamed Al Sani, sent a letter to his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jabir Al-Sabah. In his letter, Al Sani emphasized “the development of relations between the two countries.”

Qatari Emir Temim bin Hamed Al Sani sent a letter to Kuwaiti leader Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jabir Al-Sabah with the content of “improving relations between the two countries.”

Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman has travelled to Kuwait for an official visit, Qatari official news agency QNA reported.

Mohammad bin Abdurrahman, who met with the Emir of Kuwait, conveyed the letter of the Emir of Qatar, Temim bin Hamed, to his Kuwaiti counterpart on “the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and the ways to support and develop them”.

Kuwait’s Crown Prince Meshaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jabir Al-Sabah also met with the Qatari minister, who discussed issues of common importance, and his Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah, held a separate meeting.

After Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jabir Al-Sabah died on 29 September, former Crown Prince Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jabir became the new emir of Kuwait.
