Athens, Greece- Greece of ‘maximalist claims’ in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean asks EU members to suspend military exports to Turkey

Expansionist Greece called on EU members to suspend the export of military equipment to Turkey in letters.

Expansionist Greece notes Turkey’s “recent legal actions,” which it says are aimed at creating stability in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean through political and military means.

It cited the decision of the last European Council which included the obligation of the EU member-states to suspend the export of military equipment to third countries which use the equipment for legal actions or to cause a regional stabilization, which is the case with Turkey.

Greece called on EU members not to issue permits for the export of submarines, frigates, aircraft and or the upgrade or armored vehicles to Turkey.
