Lisbon, Portugal – The 2020 UEFA Champions League Final was the final match of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, the 65th season of Europe’s premier club football tournament organized by UEFA, and the 28th season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs’ Cup to the UEFA Champions League.
It was played on 23 August 2020 at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, between French club Paris Saint-Germain, in their first European Cup final, and German club Bayern Munich. The match was held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe.

Both teams started the match played at Luz Stadium in Portugal. At the 22nd minute, Lewandowski’s shot from Bayern Munich exploded on the pole. PSG went to the goal with Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria, but the fight ended in a draw in the first half.
As the second half of the match started tense, Bayern received 2 yellow cards from Munich and 1 from PSG. In the 59th minute, Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich took the stage and sent the ball to the net.
At 73 minutes, PSG waited for the penalty as Mbappe remained on the ground, but VAR stepped in and the referee decided to continue. The PSG has been pushing in the last few moments, but without success. Bayern left the field with a 1-0 win and became the champion.
Bayern Munich won the final 1–0 thanks to a 59th-minute goal scored by former Paris Saint-Germain player Kingsley Coman, the latter being selected the man of the match. Bayern secured their sixth European Cup title and second continental treble, and became the first team to claim any European competition with a 100% winning record.As winners, they will play against the winners of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, Sevilla, in the 2020 UEFA Super Cup. Bayern Munich won the 6th Champions League title.
