Berlin, Germany – German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has threatened a scandal EU sanction over what happened in the Eastern Mediterranean.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has issued a scandal threat to Turkey. “EU sanctions on Turkey may be on the agenda at the EU meeting in December 2020,” Maas said.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said the option of sanctions on Turkey is on the agenda amid tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean between Turkey and EU’s Greece.

“If Turkey’s provocations in the Eastern Mediterranean continue, I expect sanctions to be evaluated at the EU meeting in December 2020,” Maas said.
